Peak is a fall retreat for the students of Living Hope Church. This is a time where, like Moses, we step away to meet with God on the peak to learn more about Him, His plan for our lives, and to get closer as a NextGen family.

Great question! To put your mind at ease, all of the adult volunteers that serve with us at Peak have been fingerprinted, background checked, AB-506 and Sexual Harassment Prevention trained, and are current members of Living Hope Church. It is also our policy to make sure that they all understand our Leader Policies & Procedures, Code of Conduct, and have spent at least 2 years outside our Student Ministry. We take child safety very seriously because Jesus did, so if you have any questions at all about this, please let us know!

As stated in our headline, Peak is a Fall Retreat for the students of Living Hope Church in Hesperia, California. We would love to expand to other churches joining us for this great event, but for the time-being it is for students, 6th Grade through 12th Grade, from our local church or with a connection to someone at our church. If you're a youth leader interested in joining us for this retreat, however, feel free to contact Pastor Tim at tfinch@lhchd.org! You never know what the future holds!

We begin the weekend with check in at the church, and then after that, we head up to Thousand Pines Camp in Crestline, CA for just over 2 days and 2 nights of worship, Bible study, recreation, team building, and so much more. The whole mission of this retreat is to allow teens to remove the distractions of life to be able to hear God's voice and come closer to Him while also growing in a strong community of believers.

Save The Date

Mark your calendars for November 7-9 and be ready to drop your kids off before we start in the morning. We should return by 5:00pm on Sunday for you to pick them up! Please note that only those people notated on the child's release form will be authorized to retrieve the registered student.
